…and now the new face of Talk in the A.T.L.!
Patricia Wilson-Smith, the exciting comic voice on the literary scene is now the hottest thing in Atlanta talk radio and the host of “Press Pause”, Saturday’s at 4pm on Love860, WAEC
The show combines topical news, entertainment and commentary as only she can deliver it. Before joining WAEC, Wilson-Smith earned critical acclaim with her debut novel “Duped by Love”, appeared on the nationally syndicated television show, Democracy Now!, and in countless news media, including the New York Times, the Huffington Post, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. As Executive Director of Black Women for Obama, Wilson-Smith blazed a trail in local and national politics that earned her a seat on the National Women for Obama Leadership Team, and a spot in the Georgia DNC Delegation in 2008.

She is a social media expert, music producer, on-camera personality, and educator, known for her gift of gab, razor sharp wit, and intelligence – she brings a personality and raw comic talent to “Press Pause” that is sure to engage and entertain WAEC listeners of all kinds! Patricia honed her comedic skills around the dinner table of her family home in Kansas City, Missouri, where learning to deliver quick one-liners was a rite of passage as the youngest of nine.
On “Press Pause” she’ll connect with listeners all over the globe; leading the charge to expose political hypocrisy and media spin, to cut through the rhetoric that prevents the real stories behind the news from being heard by the people they impact most – every day, middle Americans. She credits her mother with blessing her with a ‘quick wit, brains, and colossally bad luck with men’, and currently resides in the suburbs of Atlanta with her son, David.
Tune in to “Press Pause”, every Saturday from 4pm-5pm Love860, WAEC!
Press Pause is a LiveWire Entertainment Production.
