The Ellison family and owners of Ellison Media Company have started an awareness campaign due to their own tragic loss of a most kind and loving 18-year-old son, brother, grandson, cousin, and nephew. One Xanax laced with fentanyl killed our CEO’s grandson, Chase Michael Ellison at the age of 18.

“Like many parents, we didn’t know that just one pill can be deadly. Nor were we aware how many families across the nation are feeling the same loss.

Your children could think they are taking Xanax, Percocet, or Vicodin and are unknowingly ingesting a lethal dose of fentanyl. Did you know that just last year in the U.S., 77,000 young people succumbed to a fentanyl overdose? This isn’t a “them” problem; this is an “us” problem, and we need to work together to end this tragedy. It is reaching into every socioeconomic level in America.

Due to our loss, and the appeal for PSAs to highlight how dangerous fentanyl is, Ellison Media has created a TV and Radio PSA campaign to drive traffic to onepillkilled.org for parents and grandparents to learn about fentanyl.”
